April is here.

How does Jess spend her time?   Baking! How does Tom spend his time?   Online!
It is still winter outside, so a huge pot of soup is always good.  I love this gigantic pot!

Ken had to work early, and Sabrina also, so they ask me if I would like to come and stay with the grandkids.   Hurray!
I brought my "grandma" bag full of things to do.   We made crafts and tried playing a few new games.  We had pizza for lunch, and Noah showed me his WWF moves!   Lily brought out Barbies and we were Barbied to death for a while.

I don't get to see them much with their busy schedule, so I grab some pictures when I can!






There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Tommy has found a job through a temp agency.   I have to drive him back and forth everyday, which is tiring. The good thing is, I get a chance for some great views.   One morning, it was looking like it was shaping up to be a good morning.  As the sun was coming up, you could see fog laying over the fields. And look!  No snow!






Warming up means yard work.  I have tried working on the old stone well up front again this year.  Not as much poison ivy, but it is still there.   

Everything is greening up again.

I decided to cheat and gave spring a boost by adding my own ever-bearing flowers!
