Some place nice to get stuck in....

The Month of March marches on.
The snow is forever, and the trudging out to the pasture a big pain just to eat.  You can see how high it is just by how the horses don't have to bend down to eat.
The snow lays in layers on the old dog house that sits off to the side of the yard.
I have tried to get up on the roof and shovel snow off because it is so heavy.   This that you see isn't just snow, but ice that has formed and grown a foot up from the edge of the roof.  I foresee problems in the spring....
Poor L.B. has all but given up on going out passed the little shoveled part outside the door.   Long winter for him too.
Another day in March, I was out on the side porch when I saw this guy.

"Uh, Oh!  I've been spotted!"

Going in to check on things, Tom and Tommy are caught shoveling some of the snow from the driveway.
With anticipation of Mom and Dad coming home, I check out the flowers that seem to always revive themselves when they come back with the encouragement of these fake ones along side.
So thrilled at this great snow we keep having.
Since it is spring, I have to change the greeting at my parent's front door.   Grandma use to have this decoration hanging at her house.
It is a shame we have had such bad winters these last two years.   What a toll it has taken on the plants and other vegetation.
Funny picture I found of John and Dad down on the bar!
Their backyard wonderland
For Becky's birthday,  I set her up for some line drying.  I bought her new clothespins and made her a clothespin bag  from a cute little girls dress I found. Hard to believe she is now 22 and married.
So ends March.
