Spring flowers blooming.
Doing lots of yard work, but leaving leaves for John when he comes up!
Tom is trying to get the things done in the garage before they come up so we can dive right in and start emptying the house.
His favorite pastime is drywall......N O T
From snow to hot and hazy!
I was really surprised that everyone could come for Mother's day. We had a great picnic that Jess had all planned out. I don't know how many more times we can have all together as their lives get busier, but I really savor it now.
Tom and I were coming home from somewhere...can't remember... but we saw the turkey vultures enjoying the sun and catching some rays. Their wingspan is awesome!
Here we go again! You know what those clouds mean? Hey, it's May for crying out loud!
Ah, but there is hope!
Someone decided that is was warmer inside!
For reference, this is a mini lighter. Yuck
Well, May brings prom. Jess is going to Collin's senior prom. They are doubling with a couple from church.
I made the corsage and boutonniere for them and used a part of Jess' dress so the colors matched perfectly!
Tom and I celebrated 20 years this month. Wow, two decades! We went out to dinner and I surprised him with a new wedding band. He had also gone long enough without one! You know, I don't think anyone even got a monumental picture of us.
Meanwhile, rains are here instead of snow. I try to get yard work done, but look at the great things I find!
I don't know how some people could eat these. gag!
The end of the month Collin got his first car. Finally able to go when he needs too. Except that one night on the way to the track he had the misfortune of an intersection and a young man joy riding his dad's motorcycle. I think Collin had the car for only two weeks. Nasty. I am glad that he wasn't hurt, and the kid on the bike suffered only road rash. Geez!
Back at grandma and grandpa's ....
