Some place nice to get stuck in....

The entire month of May is gone, and now June is about the same.   I use to be vigilant about keeping up on things here, recording life to be saved and looked back on in later years.  This spring/summer season has demanded so much more of me that I find even with the speed of technology I can't keep up.
Trying to keep my thoughts straight and headed full speed forward, I even set aside a notebook titled, "Summer 2014".
Me, always liking a schedule or comfortable itinerary, am having quite a time adjusting to the changes in our household.
So a graduation, one shower down, a wedding coming, and next will be yet the other shower for the Bride's side.
I hope that Tommy will be able to be around for the big events.  He is working in and out of town again this summer.  He is here and then he isn't.  It all depends upon his schedule.  He is still working his way through online college with anticipation of transferring to the local university in the fall.   He and his buddy are trying to find a place closer to the campus.  He is getting restless in wanting to get on with things and have his own place again.   Everything takes time!
The clock is ticking away as Mom and Dad are here this summer. Again yesterday I went over and worked on the second bedroom.  This was more of a "craft" collection room.  We still managed to clean it out, and with Tommy coming to visit and help we stuffed the car with donation things.   We left a stack of things for selling too.  Now, setting our sites on the weekend for another garage run before the truck goes in for an inspection.
