Early in the evening when the heat subsides, the horses are enjoying the little bit of grass that is growing out in the pasture. It hasn't been as muddy as in past years despite the rain we have had. In fact, the inside of the barn remains flooded while the doorway is dry. Tom had put down screen and a metal track outside their stall doors and that seems to be o.k. but we need to put something down the center where it is nothing but muck.
Chickens are getting bigger! Just a few more weeks. They seem like they are growing o.k, but I notice that they seem to be a lot dirtier than the freedom rangers that we have had in the past.
At night, the chicken wrangler comes and gathers them up to go in the coop for the night!
