The day after Christmas I was just doing my everyday cleaning up when Becky called.  She had the day off and wanted to shop.  At first I was reluctant. I thought the shoppers would be crazy.   But then I decided that window shopping wouldn't be bad, and I'd get time with Beck.   I hung on and she drove way in to Big Town.  Well, it wasn't that bad.   Actually the drivers weren't out like I thought they would be.  Besides, she took me into the mall.  And she walked me all over!  I hope she had as much fun as I did looking over all the wedding stuff, and some of the clothing sales.   She found one or two things for herself and I grabbed a set of socks for Jess.  Whoo hoo.   But Becky was getting hungry and wanted to grab a bite.   She treated me to TGIFridays.   I wanted to treat her, but she wouldn't let me!  An all day event, I was glad to kick off my boots at the end of the day. 

This is the gift Jessalyn's boyfriends mother made our family for Christmas.  She made birdhouses for all her gifts to give this year.   The picture doesn't do justice to it at all.   There is so much detail that the camera just doesn't pick it up. Just beautiful!
