Merry Christmas 2013!
The tree is full despite the downsizing of family Christmas morning. The house is warm and ready for visitors though!
We always have to have breakfast before gifts. Jess is helping hurry that along.
Nothing better than a home grown, homemade farm breakfast of homemade bread, fresh eggs, and farm raised bacon!
Especially if I get some!
Presents!
Tom can now enjoy the computer without distraction!
Jessalyn always likes opening gifts.
We got each other a slicer and a meat grinder. Now, that's love!
Time for the family to arrive!
Ken, Sabrina, and the kids came after breakfast to visit. Then they were off to her grandma's for Christmas dinner.
Next surprise was Thomas! We didn't think he would be able to make it out, but what a nice surprise when he came in the door!
Becky had to work all morning, but she and Jake managed to come on out afterwards.
I had made a Christmas ham with mashed potatoes and corn, but made it more of a casual style knowing that everyone had everywhere to go. If anyone wanted a plate, they could make it themselves. I love using the tri-pot crock strip I have for that reason.
It was a very good Christmas this year. Ah, seasons of change.
