Some place nice to get stuck in....

So, getting over the time I had with withdrawal.   Our computer  had went caput. Windows was completely knocked out.   Then Jessalyn's school computer went.  No classes for her Friday or Monday.   Apparently, there was a good ad in the Big Town paper Tom saw.  He had me pick him up and we went up to Big Town and he bought us a new computer.  Simple, inexpensive (all relative to computers in general) and with windows 8!   Still trying to figure this one out.
Jess's computer came just in time for her afternoon class on Tuesday so she didn't miss much.  She is getting that done as well as helping a local family plant garlic.  She's picking up a little cash that way.
As I said, I had to pick Tom up to go shopping.   The van seems to be on it's last legs...er...wheels, so he found a winter ride that is in basically good shape, but still needs some minor work.  So he is working on that every day before and after regular work.  He is now taking the truck everyday and    Ken has borrowed the van as his truck is in pieces as he is getting that ready for inspection.  Hopefully the transmission will be o.k. until everyone is fixed.
We had stopped over to the parents over the weekend.  They were cleaning out the fridge as the time has come.  They headed out Sunday morning. Mom and Dad made it south in just a few days.  Seems like they have been gone a long time all ready.  Have to figure out my Skype account again so that we can get back online over the miles.
Tommy is working every few days as things are winding up with his work for the season.  Yesterday, he found himself with some time so he decided to go pick some of those apples out front and make apple cider.  He put them through my juicer and made almost a gallon.
