Pigs are getting bigger! They are nice pigs and it will be hard (for a moment or two) when it's time to go. They really are loving the sunshine and mud!
Even though it is October, here I am again this year weeding the front garden. I moved some lambs ear out front so it will be thick in the spring, and also this other plant...can't remember the name...but it's deep color will be pretty in front of the daylilies after they die off next year. I hope to get it all filled in next year. It has been sparse for too long.
Miley kept me company for a while outside. The sun is warm, but not to much, and it is so very quiet. I hear the birds gathering together but not as much. Once in a while you hear a hawk and I worry for the kitties. Most of the time it is either a random blue jay or just stillness.
A few more days of sun so I hope to take advantage of it and get the laundry out. Maybe Tom will get a chance to roof one side of the barn. I started mowing yesterday, but as a given, I broke it. Or so I thought. Tom said the wheel bearings gave out that holds the belt. That is why it stopped cutting. At least I got the front done.
