Some place nice to get stuck in....

I got to pick my first peas from the garden this week.  Amazing, since the water table is low.  It filled a good size quart bag to put in the freezer.I was sitting relaxing when I saw this hummingbird waiting for a turn at the feeder.   It was after dinner and the birds where buzzing like crazy around the front and back feeders. This one little one was just waiting out for his turn.

Last week Ken and I went into big town to help my parents get ready for a yard sale.  Because I was having a slow leak with my tire, he volunteered to take me in and help move things around.  I was telling him for a guy ride it wasn't to bad.  BUT  then on the way home it cut out in little town a  block or so before Tom's work.  He came over and between the two of them pulled the alternator out and Ken replaced it .  It was an easy fix considering  all the other things it could have been.
