Kitties are getting big!

Everyone is back in full swing this Monday. Tom is back to work, Ken is running off, Becky and Jess resume school, and Tommy has to go to work this afternoon.
I got up and have made the bread for the better part of the week already, hung out laundry,

baked Honey Pumpkin Bars, climbed in the hay loft and threw down enough hay to last until the middle of the week. I still have many things on my list to accomplish.
I am transplanting my broccoli and cauliflower already! I also am going to try and start asparagus seeds. If I find a good price crown though, I will buy it.
Over the weekend, I worked on cleaning the saddle so that I am ready to ride! I also trudged through the mud and dragged over all the scrap 2 x 4’s so I can use them for my raised beds. I put a fence around the strawberries enlarging it 50%. The sun came out and it was hot! Not so much temperature wise, but the sun’s rays are strong!
Saturday was Tom’s and my 17th anniversary of our FIRST DATE. We don’t have many mile markers to celebrate as we were married two months and two days later!
A gentleman friend of ours that we hay for gave us two tickets to the Sportsman’s Dinner at his church. They must have had close to 300 people there! One of the dishes offered was smoked steelhead. It was good, but tasted like bacon to me.
They had a guest speaker, Pastor, author, and hunter, Mike Tison from Southeast Michigan. His ministries include His2Overcome , writing for the Sportsmen's Devotional , and writing a first book called, "Seize The Adventure".
