Such warm weather we are having! It makes you tired at the end of the day because you want to be outside getting things done before....ya know, THE WINTER comes!

Tommy has been out chopping wood a little every day. It will be a little ahead when we go to use it.

Tom picked a good day to go out to his tree stand and survey the area for deer. He took the camera and snapped this one near his tree stand. He said this one was a small buck, although you can't see the antlers here. When Ken came out this last weekend to site and shoot, they went out back but they didn't see much. Ken wanted to hunt squirrel, but they hide from him and come out and do games around Tom when he goes out.

Had another birthday too the 2nd. A few pampering gifts for me and a delicious chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting that Jessalyn made.

Also with the nice weather, we all went and picked up the refrigerator and table Dad wanted us to get. Tom is taking the table to work to clean it up and fix the extended leaves on it. We got the fridge moved in just in the nick of time. My "little green machine" gave out while trying to get the water out of the old one to move it out of the house. I'm trying to see if Tom will gut it though and maybe make a smoker out of it. It is nice to have a fridge that works! (This is not the new one in the birthday picture! To much clutter and it was removed when the new one was put in it's place!)
