Where do the days go?

When it is warm and dry, it is busy here. It takes longer to do things, but we are busy.

Last weekend was very busy. I started just before the weekend cooking for Becky's graduation. Three kinds of meat: hot dogs on the grill, deer meat ox roast, and sloppy joe. Mom made linguine salad, I made macaroni salad, and we had chips. The only veggie was a big tossed salad. We had the cake, of course, and supplemented with cupcakes.

I had really only expected family and a few members from the church. Grandma thinks we had at least 125 people! Yikes! Tom and I were getting leery of the amount of food we had. It seemed like we just made it! I think it is because we announced that the Diploma presentation would be at 1:30 p.m. So everyone came in and just sat down like a sit down dinner, and when they got up to eat, they ATE!

I was glad Ken could be there to help out cooking the hot dogs. I think he grilled over 60 hot dogs that day!

I was busy being busy around the place. Visiting, checking on food. I didn't get many pictures, but Grandma did. I hope to get some from here and post back up here in the future.

Earlier that day of her party, Becky was Baptised by Pastor Loren.

There were two that day. Rebekah and another young man from our church. All those who helped him to this point in his faith got in and Baptised him.
