another week of summer

We have had a few colder, rainy days of late. The rain was just right as far as saturation. It make things green up, but yet didn't leave lakes everywhere. I guess that should tell you how dry it really is here. Now they are calling for humid air, so the plants should still be growing well. I noticed that the green beans are finally popping up. I hope it isn't to warm for them.

The cantaloupe and watermelon are starting to trail so I better find room to move them soon! The dwarf apple tree really is dwarf, but it came back, and so did two of the pear trees. The blueberries look nice too.

Jess is enjoying the hoop Tom brought home.

Tom and Jess worked on the open area for the meat chicks. They are getting big! Only 8 more weeks. We figure around Labor Day.

Your pictures are great! It is warm and humid here now. We went from cold and wet to hot and dry, and now it is hot and humid. The weather here has a hard time making up its mind what it wants to do :O)
