Busy morning

Beautiful sunshine on Thursday.  And warmer too!  I hung out two loads of laundry to dry, burned the stick piles in the yard, cleaned out the goat pen outside from excess building stuff, and cleared the wood walkway in front of the barn.

Wednesday, all I did was clean out the inside of the coup where the new chicks will be.  I painted it the color of a mint cookie.  Better than the purple that was on there!  Tom will have to go around the outside and be sure that everything is closed up, those chicks are to little to fend for themselves from invaders!  I also put a second coat on the floor of the one bedroom I am trying to clean out.

The old ladies are now on one side of the coup.  Here's a few on their perch.

Jess went out for a ride, Becky worked an 11 hour shift. We had pork chops slow cooked in a skillet on top of the stove with mango jam over top.  After dinner we went and picked up Belle.                                                                                       Sister won't be alone anymore!

She has gone on and on sounding like a noisy peacock.  She simply doesn't sound like a goat at all!  Now her friend is back to eat and play outside!

Everyone likes being outside when the weather is nice,

but "fetch"  is a little hard with a stick like this!
