Sunny Saturday

Feeling a little antsy this morning.  All kinds of lists going through my head for spring and summer.  I really want to start my seedlings but know I have to wait another few weeks.   I do see my grapefruit seeds coming up though.   I know I won't get fruit, but it is nice to have greenery growing!

I have been busy making a few  blankets for the welcome box at church.   Donations are collected and given to new parents throughout the commuinity.  I had dontated a few last fall but then got busy with other projects.  Now I am playing catch up with yarn I had especially set aside for doing this.   If I get that used up, I can get back to the bolder skeins that Tom gave me for Christmas.  I have a lot of patterns set aside for those!

With it being sunny outside, it means more thawing.  Tom has decided to get up on the roof and break up some more of the ice that has caused havoc and damage to the roof and side of the house this year. Look at the size of the chunks he is breaking up!

I took time to look up what Tommy is doing and just where he is at these next few weeks.  What happened to my little boy?

I am anxious too but know it is way too soon for starting seeds. We had ice problems on the roof too, especially the north side. Getting too old to climb the roof. Hey seeing as you are really commited to the church do you know if they would want rosarie beads or necklaces with crosses. His Mom had alot of them and I do not want to just throw them out. Also does the library you go to take paper backs books? ME
