has been a run on of days. I have a lot of upload to do on this post.
We had the chance to go and visit with my mother-in-law over the weekend. while we were there, we were pleasantly surprised to see this guy drop by. <name omitted upon request!> We hadn't seen him since he got back from overseas this last time. Sounds like he enjoys being back and on his own. Doing well in his classes too!
I got my groove back! It was chilly and I didn't want to start the fire just yet so I decided to make a few things.
My birthday came and Jessalyn surprised me by making chocolate chip pancakes. I have to admit, I never had them before and they were pretty good!
Becky decorated my cake. Don't bother to count the candles, we didn't have the alloted amount to put on!
I even received a gift from Tommy! He had left this behind for me. Hmmm.....
A huge pot! He had found this one day and brought it home by bicycle. I don't know what his intentions were, but I am glad he passed it on to me for the time being. Boil and Boil, toil and trouble! Make something good and watch it bubble! I don't know if I can clean it up enough to use for food, but I know it will be easy for canning hot bath outside over the fire!
I had to finally break down. The skies may have looked a beautiful blue
But they turned quickly
And it wasn't snow in the cooler air. Look at the size of this hail!
So here is the toasty fire
oh, and FIVE more days!

Your friend who dropped by looks really familiar. Hmmm... Sure looks like you have lots of goodies made. Are those for when you are gone? :) I LOVE that big pot!!!! Huge pots of chili over a fire outside. YUM!!!
