Like piglet on a blustery day

Remember that Winnie-the-Pooh story?   We are blowing around here.  This morning for chore time, Becky helped me put up a long tarp around the goat pen.  Even though it is inside the barn, I wanted to make a bigger wind breaker area because it was so strong!  The barn door isn't up on the east side yet, so there is a tarp there too.  We secured that down with better nails/screws and it is much warmer in there now. I know the temps are going up a few degrees over the next few days, but the wind still comes in making a difference.

Tom replaced the screen in the front door with the glass last night.  Today I will find my matching curtains from the front window and hang them over the doorway.   It gives the illusion of a large window with the curtains drawn, but it also helps cut down on the cold.

Today, gray and cloudy at 9 a.m.  my favorite tree still stands with bright yellow leaves.  Slowly it is dropping them more every day.

Becky had her results come back for her knees and no indication of anything wrong.   It must be just as the doctor said, injuries aquired from sports and dance often result in circumstances like hers.  He said is should work itself out over time.

As for me, I had my fun excursion to the doctor for my biopsy.  First time was quick, then they wanted to go after a smaller spot that took an hour before they could proceed.   And it was nothing I'm sure.   They didn't even set up an appointemnt yet for follow up because there likely isn't any need for one right away!

The plans are set!   I am going to San Antonio to see Tom graduate!   Tom has figured out a way for me to go and spend both days of graduation plus the first extra day that Tom has a town pass!  I am really excited!  Now I have to make preparations for the time I am gone.  Making meals, making sure all the laundry is done,  school.    How will they ever survive without me?

It's been a rather blustery day here too. I loved the title to your blog and yes I instantly thought of Winnie and the rest!!!

God's Blessings,
