Cold, wet, rainy. I hear of those southerners getting the warm temperatures. It wouldn't be so bad to be cooler up here but when there isn't any sun you really feel blah.
Last week we got around to take Becky for x-rays on her knees. She had complaining of them for quite a while now. I was thinking it was growing pains. She still bikes, runs, dances, all that activity. She mentioned how bad it was this last summer when she was in the Florida humidity. During her yearly physical the doctor set up the x-rays. He feels the same, but thought might as well do the pictures just to be sure.
That same day we drove across town and Rebekah took her permit test. Now she is driving back and forth out here close to home. Not bad, even drove home in the dark last night from youth group.
During the break in rain, Jessalyn enjoyed time in the woods clearing the old trail from debris. She picked a really good time early in the evening. (That is why it is such a dark picture) It was just warm enough there wasn't a chill with a light coat on. You could smell the fall leaves. It was so quiet that if you stood still you could hear the acorns drop! Ahh, this is good!
I spent most of the weekend scanning the travel sights and pricing packages to San Antonio. I was hoping I could make it down to see Tom graduate, but didn't bank to much on it. Hubby Tom is doing his best to set things up. The big picture shows great rates but my frugal conscience is seeing other. This might be the only time I get to see him for a long time. I don't know if he will plan on coming back after his training 3 1/2 months later. I think he will be done with that just before his 22nd (!) birthday.
