They took off again

but I wasn't going after them.   I was so mad!  And that is going easy on my adjectives.   I walked the perimeter, even swam (well, not really) through the swamp.  That was all I was determined to do.   The middle of the afternoon, they showed up.   Just when the snow started to fall steady.

It is too cold to hose them down, so it will be the mudroom for them tonight, unless Tom comes home to help bathe them.   Pfft.

While outside cleaning up the winter yard from debris, I saw a great promise of spring.  Even with snow in the air.  I think these were the only ones on the tree.

Yesterday, Becky and I saw something really neat.   We thought it was a span of seagulls that flew inland because of the weather.  Look at the horizon

Then Becky saw they had long necks.  They are all white geese.  We have never seen so many, or in fact any here before.  I am so glad for my good camera!  I could zoom in pretty good to catch the view.
