So I tried probiocin and lasix. One to put the bacteria in his stomach, one like a water pill. The first time I ever did a shot! <patting myself on the back> Unfortunately, Clem still won’t go. I don’t get it. He isn’t hunching anymore, he’s making healthy goat berries, he’s nibbling hay, and if I hold up the warm water, he will drink. Well, I helped a little by making him drink. He had about a gallon last night and a quart today. Am I missing something? He isn’t bloating. He isn’t bleating. I gave him a haircut and didn’t see any inflammation. So when I took Sam to the vet to be checked out ( poor guy)
because he came in really bad the other day, I ask the vet what to do. First she ask how valuable he was. Then I told her how he is acting. She said leave it go if he is still mobile etc.
I thought maybe if I relaxed him. So, 6cc of this might do it?
I hope that if something happens, it happens when Tom is here or if I can get him to the vet. I don’t’ want to be in a bind. That was awful when neighbors had to come take care of Callie. But you see, my goat lady is having the same problems . Maybe she should try some vodka? LOL
I hope I have better news next time.;Thought as long as I was out in the barn, I'd take a picture of Methias. He loves his dry stall and he is brushing out little by little and getting cleaner each time.
