So excited!

I took Tom for a walk last night in the woods.  I wanted to show him the work we did in marking the new trails so he can get on the tractor and start clearing.   As we were walking,   I came across a strange sapling that was under foot.    I brought it in, and thanks to the great wonders of the world wide web and a few cyber friends, they helped me find out that it was a Tulip Tree!   I am so excited!    I just don't know how it ended up so far in the woods.

I have pictures of kitties, but again, this is giving me problems for uploading, so I will have to try later.

I I had to take Rebekah to rehersal again yesterday afternoon about 2:00 pm.  and it was a long afternoon.  Being older, it takes a few extra hours to get the rehersals in.  We finally made it home about 7:00 pm.   Given I still had to come up with some dinner,  I found that my wonderful husband had done all the indoor and outdoor chores himself,  and even watered the garden!   It is growing wonderfully even though we haven't had rain for over a week.    I'm so glad we could spare the water last night!
