have been seen here. So much snow, but yet I think it has yet to catch up to what we average every year. Even the kitties are in wonder at all the snow.
In the last week we have celebrated a 16th birthday. Pictures are over in the folder. I have a few misc. pictures of the snow too.
We had the honor of being invted to a special dinner that was held here at a private club. It was in honor of Robert Burns, a famous Scottish poet. They served such a wonderful dinner, with the special offer of Haggis, which I am not so sure what it is made off. Some say it tastes like sausage. I too tried it, but couldn't tell you the taste as the horseradish overpowered the small tidbit on my plate.
This is the special ceremony dedicated to the infamous Haggis. They bring it in and weave in and out of the tables playing the pipes, then set it up front and say an "Ode to the Haggis" so to speek . Mr. Burns thought it was the best of the best for the taste on the tongue.
The had special entertainment by Scottish dancers, A gentleman playing bagpipes, and dancing. Oh, the dancing. :Luckily we attended a special rehersal a week before so we could partcipate. I'll tell you, there shouldn't be a heavy true scottsman anywhere if they dance like this all the time! It was great!
