We have had a lot of snow in the last few days!
It is hard to believe that we will be able to sit and sip ice tea in this swing in a few more months! For now, we can enjoy this lovely view of the winter sky. views like this make the days more bearable.
We are keeping warm, but finally had to turn on the furnace. It hit below 20 and the wind was just to much to ignore.
Tom has treated us to subscribing to satellite once more. We really don't watch to much t.v., but when we do like to sit mindlessly late at night, we would rather watch hokey rather than trash. Thank goodness for TV Land. All those great oldies!
Jess is getting antsy as far as the horses. She spent at least a half hour today just being in the barn sitting on Dusty. The horses are going to get tiresome being in there, but the wind has been bad and they barely peek out.
We did put up plastic strips along the south door and that seems to keep out a lot of that snow and cold air. To my surprise, the goats are fairing well. I took out a few T-shirts today thinking that they may need some cover, but they were doing very well!
Let's all hang in there a little longer and soon those buds will be out to stay!
