That's it.  Just like Grandma. 
I can't stand the heat.  Yesterday was  Time to bring out the cold, wet dish towel around the neck!

Today they call for rain but the radar shows otherwise.  I watered my new plants last night just in case and I am glad I did.   The outdoors is so quiet it is deafening. The neighbors are off to school so no more screaming outside all day.  The Amish are in the midst of leaving the neighborhood so we don't see as many horse and buggy going up and down the road.  That's the traffic.  The beginning of the week I had hummingbirds galore, practically flying into each other to get to the feeders.  Must have known it was time to leave as I haven't seen hardly any now despite the heat. 
So today with it early morning it is still overcast and glum.  I think that I will work on more of the bedrooms that are askew yet with "stuff".  Odd time to vac, but I think I will before Tommy comes home this morning.  He called after his shift and said he was taking a nap.  They were messing with his sleep yesterday trying to figure out just what shift he will stay on.   As long as he can stay....
