What day is it?  Oh, only a day in January! And I finally finished my Christmas napkins!  I have been working my way through the mending and sewing that has been piling up in Becky's old room.
I managed to whip out an orange sweater for L.B. too.

He had Precious old green sweater with gold flicks so that I could see him out there in the snow, but it just doesn't fit him that well.   This one isn't perfect either, but it is more up to date for here, being orange!
I was cleaning out the mudroom and saw the venetian blinds were looking pretty bad as they hung on the outside wall covering the windows that constantly have a leak running down them.   I wasn't happy with what I saw.  I know the whole room needs torched, but this confirms it.   Blech.  I took everything down and sealed it up with plastic until spring when it will fall like the walls of Jericho! 

So as we are enjoying a very short thaw here, Dad had a visitor down south.   What a surprise to have a friend from the north that lives in the south, come up to northern Florida to visit!
