Good thing I drove out in this blizzard to find a few bags of coal to last us this week.

Yep. That's -20 you see right there. It was 5:30 a.m. Still read that at 8:30. Took all morning to bypass the 0 reading.
Doesn't seem to affect the chickens though. We are still getting eggs, and they are toasty warm with the heat lamp on.
Banked a little bit of snow around the base of the barn, and put the light blanket/sheets on the horses. It was -10 in the barn, but felt much better without that high wind whipping through. They didn't seem to mind a bit as long as they had water. Almost over....
