Some place nice to get stuck in....

Ken finished up the summer coop for the laying chickens.   He cut the window and screened it in and covered the venting under the overhang.  I had painted the old coup the other day touching it up, and then painted the summer coop.
It was pretty hot yesterday, but I managed to get all 12 rows of tomatoes strung.  I went out last night and had to use the sprayer to water everything.  I had put barrels under the overhang of the house to catch water last time it rained and now I have about 25 gallons to use until the next rain.  They aren't calling for that for another three or four days.
I managed to lay the other rough cut wood out on the back porch and nail it in.  It was starting to get warped.   The rain really hurt the berries.   I went out and weeded them a little yesterday and picked only 4!
This morning I made a cheesey potato casserole to take to a funeral dinner at church.  I'm going to come home and probably work some more out in the yard despite having a terrible bout with poison ivy!  It really looks like prickly heat rash but itches just awful.  I wish the jewel weed was blooming so I could soothe the itch with that.
