160 tomatoes     peas  peppers  beans          200 corn

So wouldn't you know that now the sprayer is exhasted!   I was out last night watering each plant by cupful carrying around a five gallon bucket.  Not fun!  I wish some rain would come soon!
Today Jess is off on an all day  ride with the neighbors.  She has been running all week long babysitting,  youth group, pagents for friends.   To much running.  This ride was scheduled a while back so she had to go.  Not to many people around all week.  Tom has been working 14 hour days this week,  two of the older kids have been working,  Becky starting her CNA  classes this week.  Tommy has online orientation for college next week.   Ken is still waiting to be called back but finds things to keep him busy. I, on the other hand have been outside all day almost every day.   I have been weeding, whacking, pushing and riding mowing.   I put up a fence for the meat birds.  Sixty more days!

They are growing bigger and bigger!

With working so much, it seems more and more things are breaking down while Tom is away.  The rubber seal came off the chest freezer so I taped that up for a quick fix.   The weed whacker gas tank fell off completely.  Ken was home when that happened so he made a temp fix.  Tom worked on it a little more when he got home.  The push mower has no spark.  He took that off to work to look at today.  I ran over the hose with the mower.   I also push mowed over the cap for the septic.   I wonder what will be the surprise awaiting him today?   Oh,  I have to go get propane.   Let's not even think about those circumstances!  When we did have the last rain last weekend, it left the stawberries in bad shape.
I spent 2 1/2 hours yesterday morning going through and picking out all the bad ones and do some minor weeding.   I came in with about 2 quarts that can go in the freezer. Many little guys are enjoying them too, I see.

In the afternoon is when I started weed whacking.   Took about  3 hours to just go around half before I started having problems.   It was to hot and I just quit.

That is a lot of tomato plants. We have been cool this summer and need some warmth for our garden to grow.

I am anxiously awaiting the meat birds going in. I am tired of all the feed we are pouring into them.

Have a wonderful day.
