Thursday I ran Tom around getting insurance for his new car. He has freedom once more! Not to bad a deal for a few hundred bucks, and is inspected for 7 more months. Needs a little work, but should last him through the summer.

Have to keep in mind to get Rhode Island Reds for our laying chickens. Look at the difference from the plain white chickens.

This is a favorite kitty. She is the only girl in the bunch. She acts like she was the last to be born, a little delayed in her actions.

of course, this one is cute too.

They just all want to be loved. The one giving the most is the one who said, 'NO MORE!"

Whenever I am out milking, Mr. Whiskers is my best-est pal. He sometimes sits on my knee patiently waiting. Sometimes he even manages to rub an utter or two with his head!

Lots of nice weather during the day, but frost at night. I finally said, "forget it" and left the covers off. The wild blueberries looked o.k.

as well as the mystery fruit tree.

Because of the dry weather, I went out and rototilled the garden a bit and put the make shift lattice up for the peas and laid out the 2 x 4's for the raised beds. Still haven't planted the peas and beans yet. Tom spaced out the area along the left side for the blueberries to be moved.
