Some place nice to get stuck in....

Well, it is green once again, and the temperatures felt warm yesterday. The sun peeks in and out and gives you that antsy feeling. At least it does for me. I pulled out my seeds to take inventory, see what I will start this year. I know how many plants to actually have for harvest a good crop in the fall this time. My husband is in question as to how many bugs might be out this year due to the mild winter we have had here. Maybe not enough winter to squelch the bugs come spring and summer. I am afraid that it will be a wet one, and am glad I am learning about raised beds to garden. I am very anxious to start in the new area.
Last night when I took Jessalyn to AWANA she talked me into driving a little farther down the road to see if the new Dollar General was open. Finally! It will be great when taxi driving everyone! No more outrageous pricing from the local grocery store. That was just awful! Now if we can get a gas station as close that is open past 6 on Saturdays, and 2 on Sundays!
Today I travel to Medium Town to take Tom in for his physical. We will be visiting the seconds store for black pants. He needs them for work.
Yesterday, I still puttered doing small things that I keep putting off. I worked in the washroom since a lot of the things were pulled out of there so the repairman could fix the washer. I took down the one panel curtain I had hanging in there and put up two lace ones with a matching valance. I also changed out the pink blind and put up an alabaster. It looks much better with the colors in that room. I have a long curtain that covers the pantry items that is green, gold, and tan, and a curtain that covers the bookshelf that is green. So the pink just didn't cut it. It looks much better now. I want to get in there and remove the stacked cupboards we were using for misc. storage. They went in there when he redid the kitchen, but they have to go.
I painted over the spots I spackled in the bathroom, repainted the trim on the Hoosier, and painted the TV stand that was banged up pretty bad. I'm in the fresh coat of paint mode!
