Snow, to much snow! I went out twice to shovel all the snow that fell. It was wet and heavy, but I got it done. It was so much that I wanted to get a jump on it before everyone started driving over it and packing it down. I came in and worked in the house for a while, then about lunch time saw the snow was letting up so I went back out to shovel the next 3". I was just about done when I looked to the north sky. If it wasn't so cold, I would describe it as a tornado sky! The color was a hazy yellow color. Then as I stood there, in it came. It got so bad that when Jessalyn looked out the window, she couldn't see me only 50' away! I give up!
The next day it warmed up enough to start the melting. Enough that when Tom finally brought home the blower we didn't need it. It kept the country roads icy though even with the melting. Ken came to the rescue yet again, this time for Becky, as she slid off the road near home and into the ditch. It was later in the afternoon but would be a while before Tom came home. So she called her older brother to come and use the tractor to pull her out.

Back to very cold and snow, I tried using the blower. It worked to clear the large amount and gave out just as I was finishing. The chain keeps coming off and I don't know how to get under there to fix it. And I won't either! Being so bad Sunday morning we had a slow going. The kids made it to church, but we were so far behind that we got out and were down the road before we just said forget it and turned around. Brrr and yuck!
