It is hard to believe that is has been just over a year since Grandma Clouser has been gone. Time is like sand in an hourglass. This is a picture of Grandma Talbot, me, Mom, and Grandma Clouser. It was 1968 or 1969. I never can remember!
From Grandchildren to Great-Grandchildren. Here Grandma is holding Tommy, 1988. The first of seven great-grandchildren.
It's funny the little things that you remember about a person. Every time I make potato salad I think of how good hers always was compared to mine. Even when she told me exactly what to put in it. Or remembering the first time I saw her in slacks! She would always wear cotton dresses when my Grandfather was alive. Then to see her in a sweatshirt and slacks! Or seeing that huge bowl of candy for the neighbors when they came trick-or-treating. Christmas Eve every year growing up. Visiting and eating ice cream sandwiches as she is sitting in her chair and we visit.
This picture was taken back in 1992, when she came to our house for the boys birthdays. She loved celebrations! I just imagine her going through the door last Christmas time ready for piece of cake!
