Some place nice to get stuck in....

It is time to start decorating for Christmas, even though we don't have snow. It makes it hard to be festive when it's 50 degrees outside.

The sky was again stunning on the way to church. It made good traveling weather for the Amish today as they gathered to worship together.

I thought being up early I would make bacon for breakfast. Pft! Store bought bacon. Look how white it is with fat! I miss my own pigs! And I have made my last batch of cooking lard too! We worked on the deer the other day. I used an old fashioned tool to help skin it. Worked so fast the guys could start cutting and cleaning the meat sooner. This was Tom's first time to do a deer. I think it was easier than he thought!

I finally finished the sweater I've been working on. Jessalyn is modeling it. Now I can begin something new! Go to my Knittin' and Purlin' page for my version of the pattern.
