Some place nice to get stuck in....

Thanksgiving is tomorrow.

There is no snow.

I think Tom is going to be home for the next five days or so.

Our canning shelf is full.

We have our health, if not wealth.

We have water.

We are staying dry, we are staying warm.

Oh, and there is NO **** snow!*****

Even though we are going to Gina's tomorrow, I plan on thawing the turkey we have in the freezer and cooking it up for the weekend anyway. I have a couple guys that plan on being around and going hunting, and a hot meal and leftovers will taste good to them. Even if we don't have the snow, a long day in the woods needs a good meal to come in to.

I have a spare room that I have to do something with. It has become a store room instead of a spare bedroom. I had done some work in there over the last couple of week doing organization of items, but now I need to find them a new home. Ken mentioned he may want to move back in for the winter. That means moving Tom out of Ken's room and back into the other bedroom. I wanted to get it painted because it never did get all four walls done after it was drywalled over 14 years ago. Sad. Where does the time go? I need to find a real twin bed too, the roll away is not good enough for an extended stay.

~breathe~

Give me that good old Valerian and I can get over this hill. Let's get it into perspective.

So what if I wake up and put the dogs out and see that the cat's have made a real mess of the mudroom last night and the ceiling leaked all over the freezer?

So what if I go to the washing machine to find that yesterday's laundry didn't spin out because the computerization on the washer wouldn't work?

But, my hero, Maintenance Man can fix it and then I can hang the um teen wet socks up to dry.

Maintenance Man is my true hero. He can fix anything. So I made him a bacon and egg sandwich with hot, hot coffee to take to work with him.

Maintenance man,

Maintenance man,

If he can't fix it

No one can.

He's my amazing MAINTENANCE MAN!
