Well, after the rude awakening this morning with the noise of the dog getting ready to heave, I jumped out of bed and got her outside. Forget the bones! This is the second time she did this. I won't do that again. I just wish I knew what she could teeth on without destroying or getting sick!
Since Jessalyn slept late today, I headed out to the barn for chores. I spent most of the early morning cleaning barn, doing water. I needed to throw down hay but when I looked at the open stall where we keep it, I decided to clean it out first. I moved the skids so that we can stack a few bales but still get to the saddles. Then all that bad hay that was under the skids I moved to the muck trail between the barn and the chickens. Being all hay it should mulch down pretty good over the winter. We did that with an old round bale last year by the pig pen and it worked well.
Then I came in and remembered the jelly. I had been soaking the grapes for a few days now so there wouldn't be any floaters. Ewww! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is setting up well.
Jess is done with school and took the afternoon time to go riding before it gets cold and rainy. I'm going to go work on housecleaning and computer support for my mom setting up her blog.
