I had Tommy rototill up by the driveway this morning then I raked the grass out and transplanted some of the rose of sharon by the house out there.
Tom doesn't like not being able to see out the windows so I have been working at pulling out and transplanting the stuff up next to the house. I got in such a mood that I transplanted a snowball bush to outside the living room window garden, and pulled up a few rose of sharon and put them on the west side of the house on the edge of the woods going to the pond area. I'm sure the deer will just love that. Most of the trees are 4' and 5 ' that I moved. I hope they take with tomarrow's rain forcasted. Thought I would run the push mower too and mow down the weeds under the window. I did along the sidewalk blocks and around to the mudroom door when I hit the shovel that was laying on the ground. Guess I was done mowing for the day. I decided to take the hosta out of the planters by the mud room door and move them around the yard as well.
While we were outside, Jessalyn was busy inside baking cookies. This time it was peanut butter/ chocolate oatmeal cookies. MMmmm they were soft!
Tonight after dinner Jessalyn is headed down to church for a meeting with all the helpers of AWANA for this year. She never really had a chance to enjoy Awana because she was doing gymnastics. She only got to go in sixth grade. It should be fun for her with other young people her age helping the little ones.
