I plan on getting some laundry done and out on the line while the sun is shining. I hope to make another round on the mower taking it a little shorter, and getting the weed wacker out too.
Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding.

The ceremony for a young woman at church was beautiful. It wasn't like your basic vows. Instead of all the talk of being joined, do you's, etc. The groom's father preformed the ceremony. What made it different was that instead of centering around the bride and groom, it centered around God and the plans he had for the two. "Wow, imagine that!" you say. Well, you would think. But this is the first wedding I can ever remember that it actually was centered around that "third cord". I really thought it was nice. During the wedding instead of the mother's being presented with roses, they did something different. The bride's father made a stand of wood that held three bottles of sand. The stand had no front, back, definite sides. The three bottles of sand cymbolized the two families and God. The mother's each took a bottle of blue sands and began pouring it into the bottle. Then the bride, groom, and preacher alternated the sands, combining them into one. Really neat. Then they capped it and it can be saved by the bride and groom.
She had everything simple, that is what made it nice.

Sunday after church Tom started taking out the big, black woodstove. Yeah! It is gone.

I wanted to see if someone else could use it, but he said we used it so much and so long it was really bad. I wish we could have passed it on and blessed someone else like we were blessed with it.

The kitties are around.
In fact, Dana found one more and sent it over Sunday morning. That is o.k. We will find homes for all of them when it is time! They will be very friendly because they are being handled so much!
I'm a little leary about the one that hit the cement though. He is a little "different". He moves around and eats and stuff, but to look at his face he is a little off. But isn't he cute?

What a beautiful wedding ceremony! Congratulations to the new couple. The kitty is cute. We had puppy fall and hit the concrete. She turned out ok though. Enjoyed the pictures.
Blessings,
Tiffany
