Saturday

The youth group gathered at the church Friday night to drive to an Aquire the Fire   event.  They will be gone overnight,  attend the event today, come home tonight, and the girls will have a sleepover where we can pick them up after church on Sunday.

I over did myself yesterday before the rain and felt it last night. I started little, by doing the freezer.  It had to much ice built up from where the ceiling leaked and it froze the goods inside. Then   I moved four trailers full of manure to the garden, filling up the raised beds. That tore the lawn up but it needed moved so I can start planting soon. I tried mowing, but the tire kept going flat on the rider and the push mower wouldn't start.  It was to wet anyway and I was grumpy  and tired.  However, this morning with Tom off to work and the girls gone, I did the barn chores too.  I got a little side tracked as I redid the one stall area that we use for grain and what-not.   I came in and made bread and did some household chores too.   The sunshine is wonderful, but it is way to wet to do to much in.  I will find something I can do though.  I am headed out to turn out the horses for a little bit of vitamin D, even if it is wet out there.   They need some fresh air.
