Of course, coming home there was a lot more snow than when she left. Dad started the snowblower for her and she did the driveway for outside fun.
Tom worked on the snow mobile because it still isn't running good. Actually, it sounds pretty bad. My little green car sounded better.
It didn't stop Stanley from exercising though when Tom was test driving it. It is the only thing that will wear that dog out.....for 15 minutes!
Once a month on Sundays, the church has been having a tureen dinner up at the second site. It is to get the two congregations together once in a while. The migration and attempt at reaching out to the community up the way has been hard on the families. This is the first time in a long time we have had the chance to go. I made a crockpot of venison, and there were lots of good deserts. That always makes a good meal!
The youth congregate together for their own fellowship time.
The younger ones gather for some B. ball in the gym.
Today is the womens bible study. A group of about 12 ladies are studying from the Women of Faith series. We did one on encouragement last spring, and we are almost done with Living Above Worry and Stress.I read the lessons, and it has been yah, yah, yah. Fear, stress, overload, saying no. But today it focuses on the area that I live in.The top scripture for the chapter is
"You also aspire to lead a quiet life. To mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you." 1 Thessalonians 4:11
Questions like, "who is in your circle of influence?" and "Your are to lead a quiet life, but not that of a hermit," or "living with a lot of background noise."
Bing! My life in a nutshell.
