At least they give us hope for next week when it warms up to the 30's. I really needed to get the fire going today though because I wanted to try something new.
What is wrong with this picture?
No, I didn't lose my mind! It really is my coffee pot inverted on top of the stove. I am using it to keep my jar of milk warm on top of the stove. It needs to stay at about 110 for six hours.
Apparently it worked, because I now have yogurt!
I tasted it this morning making it a strawberry flavor. Yummy! I am very excited that it worked out and I didn't have to use the stove all day!
Now for the good, the bad, and the ugly.
It is good that I have my sewing machine. It is bad that I can't see to thread the needle. This is the ugly.
I now have to admit that even with my bifocals, I must use a magnifier to thread the needle.

Ah... age. I too have a hard time seeing to thread the needle. :)
I am glad your yogurt turned out. :)
you sound pretty busy down there. All I can do to haul 2 five gallon buckets of water to the barn and do chores. Loved the thaw but winter is back.
