Christmas 2010

Everyone is happy for Santa.  Even Jack.

The tiresome task of making cookies is done.   These are two of my most requested.  Santas and Cream Cheese wreaths.

The real wreaths have been put up.

I attempted no bakes, but being mostly unsuccessful, I made it into a granola type snack to pick at.

Breakfast time before gifts!

and of course, the traditional picture in front of the tree  MINUS Becky

Tommy's gift to Ken says it all

a excited moving shot of Tom opening his jeans~ oh, boy!

Bob could care less.  He is reserving his energy for Christmas Dinner.

We went in to town for Christmas dinner at my brother-in-laws house.   It was he and his wife hosting with their three kids, Tom's sister and nephew, and the six of us.  Becky met us there.  In fact, everyone was there before us. We always have to much to do to get ready before we go anywhere.

It was really nice.  We had ham and some wonderfully delicious Christmas potatoes.   I made a giant Chocolate roll with peppermint and whipped creme inside.   I haven't made one of those for years! Everyone got a chance to catch up and visit today.

When Becky came home, it was her turn to open gifts.  Wonderful.

Did you use freshly rolled oats in your no-bakes? I did that and got the same result. Now, I either decrease the oats or increase the liquid. :)
