I wrote my list, but didn't stick to it today. Instead, I swifered, then vac'd, then scrubbed all the vinyl flooring in the house. Then it was only 9:30, so out I went to clean all windows but the back bedroom ones. I was just finishing up when Ken drove in. He was going squirrel hunting. Did a little laundry then Tom came home. I made them open faced french bread sandwiches browned in the oven. I used our own sausage for the first time! I picked a pack out of the freezer that wasn't seasoned. After looking online I found one as good as any to try. It was for a few pounds, and I had just one to use. So, in my consistency of throwing this and that together, I didn't measure but dashed a few spices it listed. Rosemary, basil, garlic, marjoram, salt. It tasted great! Passed Tom's test!
After lunch Ken and Jess went out to fix his tree stand.

Tom and I had the pleasure of dumping the manure. What a muddy mess to get out into the woods! All around the chicken coop and pig pen is horribly muddy!
Now after being in and drinking some hot tea, I am headed out for night chores and my once a day milking.
