Waking up to a full moon peeking through the treetops before the sun makes it's appearance. A good day. No where to go. That is what I said on Sunday night. Then there it was, Monday morning. I have run every day since. Unplanned. One day is was for feed, the next to drop of one of the girls at Grandma and Grandpas house. Then back to trade girls. Everyone needs a turn before school starts. I found that Jess missed an online "Meet the Teacher" day all ready. I had no notification of it. Great. Now we have to go back into town today so we know how to use her programs for the computer.

Hey, at least Mr. Whiskers can enjoy a relaxing day in the shade.
He is not being
fierce, he is extending a HUGE yawn!
Remember the mama turtle laying eggs back in June? Well, this week Jess found the turtles hatching.

She found 10 of them! We lost only one last night, and Tom decided it was a good time to set them on the bank of the pond. He set them near a dead tree stump that was partially in the water. That way they had some shelter, or could venture into the water. One jumped right in! I hope the do o.k. You shouldn't mess with nature!

Isn't the moon just beautiful. i love how it lights up everything. The turtles are so cute. Maybe you'll get to have a relaxing day at home today.
I had a really good moon experience myself earlier this week. It was a crazy thought. I think it's when it dawned on me that I was on a planet.
