Fever

Agh!   Ready and bit with the bug,  i found some paint for Jess' room Sunday night when Tom and I were out.   Early, right after the girls got up yesterday morning, I swept and started painting her floor.   No rugs for now.   Maybe a throw.   Again I say,  "Who in their right mind has wall to wall carpeting on a farm?" Anyway,  before

and after.

Then after some school work was done, the afternoon brought way to a slightly warmer air and some sunshine.  So After getting dinner underway I headed outside to play with the dogs and work in the yard.  While Bob was out I worked up in the front in the rasberries.  Weeding them all out, thinned right down to almost nothing.  I did this last year and we had quite a few!  I had also had Tom trim out near the properties old hand  dug well (I assume).  It is lined only to ground level and I want to find rock to build it up.  It makes a nice corner nook garden area.  Add a few more summer flowers and we are good to go there.

Becky took time to start cleaning up near the road again, this time the other side of the driveway.  There are flowers coming up every year there and every year you can't see them because of all the twigs and broken limbs on the ground.  I've always said that I wanted to clear it up,  maybe a nature fence, but this year it looks like it took Becky to get going.

What is she doing?       She didn't want her picture taken, I guess.

When I came home from dance with Becky the other night, I found Tom and Jess putting up the wooden valence in the diningroom.  It is looking good!   Little bits to finish things off...little things. Oh, and for dance,  this is the  jazz costume for this year.  Ooh wee!

I made wonderful perogies last night.  We are going to get so much fatter!   They were delicious!   I talked to me sister in law that was always after us to make them.   She suggested great things like bacon, or saurkraut and ham inside.   Oh, boy.
