What better way to start out your trip to town than following a full truck of this????
We ran to Tom's Aunt's house to pick up seats for the van Saturday. We were so close to the plaza that I thought we would stop at the "zoo" a.k.a. the meat market and pick up a few things. Forget that! He could hardly stand driving through the parking lot just to make his way back out the other side!
Instead, Tom drove us over to the outdoor show they had down near the lake. Parking there at the convention center was bad too, so we took the trolley. Everyone sing now, "IT'S A WONDERFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. A WONDERFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. WILL YOU BE, WON'T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR?"
Very interesting things among the vendors there. I wouldn't want to be Mom and Dad, or Tommy for that matter having these frequent my dwelling.
I finally got to see the infamous Jack-a-lope. Had to get a picture of this mount!
The long day found us at home not really making dinner, and turning in rather early. I guess this is what city people do on the week-end.
