Working hard

Last Saturday Tom and I picked up wood for the stove.   Good deal, older wood, lots of heat.  We undloaded the first load Saturday afternoon and left the second on the truck for the night.  It was just to cold. Sunday was very cold to go out in the morning for chores.  I didn't realize how cold until we got in the car to go to church.     It was still that temperature when we got out two hours later!  Then, after church and midday chores we went visiting friends.  They invited us over for homemade pizza that was really wonderful!   Cooked on a pizza stone and everything.  No cookie sheet there.    We  visited for quite a while as Jess and their girls  went trekking out to see the livestock.  Feeding Jenny, their milk cow, and then over to see the beef cows.   Too cold for me.  I will peek out the window.

We came home late in the afternoon and remembered the other load of wood.  At least it was in the 20's when we were unloading it.   Got done in time to go pick the girls up from youth group and come home and fall asleep on the couch!
