when Tom brought home the snow mobile. As you can see, I guess there can be to much snow for this kind of fun.
Now what to do?
I think we will try and push it out over there. Get on and don't stop! And don't hit the pines!
Poor Scratchy isn't feeling well. His cold infection came back. He sits infront of the woodstove and it dries up his little nose which results in nosebleeds. Poor guy. I went to get him more meds today and was affraid of what the roads would be like. I never anticipated a hold up like this!
I ended up getting out and shooin' them out of my lane. They were very reluctant! I started by honking and riding up on them, but they just turned around and stared. So I put the car in park and got out and was there in the middle of the road flailing my arms around and hoopin' and hollerin'. They finally got moving when a 'wannabe" truck came up behind me so I got back in. They still couldn't stay in the other lane so there I was with the window down hollerin' and waving my left arm out the window. The guy in the northbound lane was laughing, but I had the last laugh as now they were in his lane! They really couldn't go anywhere because the snowplow had pushed all the snow to high. The house they were near raises all kinds of foul and they must have gotten out. They couldn't figure out how to get back in the driveway that they came from so they kept moving down the road.
On the way back they were moving closer to home, but still huddled off the side of the road.

I had to laugh at your picture of the guineas on the road. I have three and sometimes I don't think they are very smart. :) they do not like to be in the snow. Mine decided yesterday to fly (which they do very well!) from their coop to the chicken coop. They stayed on top of it all day and then decided to roost on the fence instead of going inside. I was worried about them being out all night. I have tried to catch them before and to put them in their coop and it is impossible because they will fly up on top of the buildings. Oh, and mine would go down on the road also and would not move for cars. I would chase them home so they wouldn't get hit.

Those must Casbolm"s guinea hens huh! Man I would have grabbed a few because those are the birds I would like to have here running around. They are great watch dogs (my dogs aren't) plus they eat all types of bugs, especially the deer ticks. Isn't the snow and ice something!
YOU CRACK ME UP! How can one family have so much going on that nobody else seem to incounter. Country life is alway entertaining whether its good or bad or just crazy! You made me laugh today and i needed that. THANKS!!
