and trying to do school, I take time to upload some pictures. We have gone to bone chillin' cold
with ice encapsuled bushes
To warming to 40 degrees and the icicles melting. This one was hanging out our back window. And this was on a part of the roof that doesn't have a gutter!
The warming and then cooling at night gave us a nice thick layer of ice to shovel. I took this off the top of the snow.
MLK day meant a day off for Rebekah's cousin, Kacie. They went to the movies and a bite to eat. Beck just couldn't cut the overwhelming fun. Guess you can tell Becky is the older of the two as she fell asleep in the backseat on the way home!
And what is this? Ken stopped by to pick up his mail and show us his Firefighter DVD the department made for everyone on the squad. He helped himself to some of my great beef and barley stew and then zonked out on the couch for a while.
Scratch is feeling much better for the day. He is playing with One-eyed Sam. Poor Sam doesn't have many friends. Scratchy is one of the only ones who will play with him.
