BWauck! bwauck! BwauCK!

New chickies!  Tom went and picked up a half dozen last night.  Just enough for us. The coup was already divided from when we had chickens on one side and use the other for milking the goats.  When we moved the milking to the new barn, we just cut a hole in the wall so they had more space to move around.  Now it is back to covering up the hole and keeping them divided for now.  Each with their own food and water area.  We need to make nesting boxes again, as they are laying on the floor.  That is ok though because I put clean hay down for them to lay in. We have already got two eggs today!

The weather is great at almost 70 degrees.  I took a walk over to the swampy pond and the sun was coming in on the weeds, but it still made the color look vibrant.

Becky went out to saddle up Rosie, and then then girls are out for a ride today while I helped Tom cover the pool better for the winter.  He went out and cut a higher opening in the old barn so that he can pull his tractor in there for the winter.  This will be the first time he gets a chance to do that since he has had it.  No more tarps!

Even though the truck isn't running to well, we plan on taking Veronica down for her date later today.  The wind isn't bad, so it won't be to bad in the back of the truck. If I can get her in for the month of November,  I can wait two months and take Belle in and at least it will be slightly staggered.
